Meat Hook was made for the spell forum at www.thehelper.net

Did we need a Meat Hook?
________________________
In my opinion, yes. Simply because, I felt like making it, and, come to think of it,
I felt like making it.
How Instanceable Is it?
_______________________
Don't keep your hopes high for this... Its only instanceable enough to use for 1 player's unit
at once. Yes, I COULD have made it MPI (Multi-player instanceable). But, I don't see the point.
Despite all this, one good thing about this spell, is that it can be used at any level. Yes, you heard
right - level 1'000'000, 335'432, 600, 570, 1, 2, 3, & 4, and all the others.
Why Did I Not Use An Array For The MeatHook_Timers?
___________________________________________________
For some "strange" reason, using an array for my timers caused the 2nd timer to not work - at all.
So, now you know why I used two separate variables for them.
Why Isn't The Spell Made In JASS?/Why Isn't It MUI?
___________________________________________________
For a number of reasons:
- I can't handle my locals (still "learning")
- I use too many bjs and I can't use natives properly
- I'm not good enough at using JASS to make it MUI
How Do I Import The Spell Into My Map?
______________________________________
1. Copy the Meat Hook ability, then paste it into your map
2. Copy the Meat Hook dummy unit, then paste it into your map
3. Copy ALL of the variables with "MeatHook" in them, then paste them into your map
4. Copy the "Spell" folder, then paste it into your map
5. Look through all of the triggers and make sure they look
exactly the same as they do in this map
6. Have fun!!
Final Notes
___________
- If ANYONE would like to make a JASS/MUI version of my spell, I would gladly like to add it into my thread
at thehelper.
- Please don't take credit for being the author of this spell (unless you make an MUI version). If you feel
nice enough, you can credit me, however.
- When you modify my spell, for any reason at all, make sure you actually know what your are doing, before
you do.
- And, yes. You can use this spell in your map(s); its a spell released to the public.
Enjoy using the spell!
