I have a nice looking tile i downloaded from this web page, i import it into my map, and poof. i can access it. This question may be somewere else... But i cant find it. can anyone give me tips on getting the tile in?

You need to change the path of the tile that you imported. To do this, open the Import Manager and double-click the file that you imported. Then click the check-box and replace the entire text that is typed in with the following:
TerrainArt\Ashenvale\Ashen_Dirt.blp

You can also change it to:
TerrainArt\Ashenvale\Ashen_Vines.blp or TerrainArt\Village\Village_Grass.blp

Eventually you'll figure out what each path is for different tiles.
