Mitula's Seal


-After Skysong Clan has fallen under corruption, together with Malaku trolls sieged and vanished Earthsong Fortress.
In the heat of the siege, Skabuz, warchief of earthsong has sent his wife and his child Rogan in escort of Elder Thazz to find new lands for living.
So Years have passed and Rogan has grown, demonic power of corruption was growing to outstanding limits...Game starts when Rogan begins to train his spiritual ways at Elder Thazz, step by step your main hero will learn all spells, but ranks will have to be bought for ability points (lumber) which can be droped by certain mobs.
Ability points runes are not % drop, and are not triggered, those drops or quest rewards are unique and cannot be repeated, amount of total ability points that can be collected is equal to amount needed to train all spell ranks. So you will have to kill all mobs sadly :)
On the way to discover roots of evil, Rogan faces godess Mitula and Oracle who are giving him help, but also he faces evil minions of Dark Lord Kazin, and Voodoo Lord of Medani Tribe.
There is also an arena event, which comes as a quest but can be entered without it, that presents source of gold income, for 500 gold as winner you will take 1500 gold and fill your bags with potions.

Overall difficulty is easy, uber easy actually, but i hope you will have fun following story and completing quests. Cinematics have to be read, cant be skiped, thats only way i had to increase your game time, and make you sit on chair :) Hope you will not mind that.


As you can see i havent place credits, this time, i feel terrible hard to dig in map looking for authors of some imported stuff. But however, credits are given in game, as an option at start you can chose to read credit list before starting game, or watching intro cinematic, which is only skipable cinematic in whole game.

Critical error that was caused by dying at certain regions has been fixed, you can die where ever now.

Agai's stand victory animation replaced with stand work (during turn her second cinematic).

Changed way how first boss (elemental of earth) preforms his summon ability, now it is on hit event with 7 seconds cooldown, spawns will last 3.5 seconds. His slam ability has been removed because of small freezes at cast point, it has been replaced with endurance aura and additional 75 hp.

Models of shield and second earthsong blade have been scaled to 40% of their previous sizes, they seem to be alright now.

Cameras at regions have been modified to change every time you enter those regions, so its almost like it was in first version if you will not like the camera you can adjust it yourself.

Outdoor soundtrack, will be probably less present now, since it will play only when you enter earthsong village, otherwise last played track will repeat itself, until i find several new tracks to replace those and make some sound system.

Totem spell has been removed from Medani berserkers and their high shamans, again it was causing errors. New spell has been added, not yet tested but it should work properly.

Item added to MC Profit, Drums of War, which will increase armor by 3 and attack speed by 50% for 15 seconds. 30 seconds cooldown.

Aragnia's combat should be finally fixed, so you can chose your way to end game as good or bad Rogan, tho Rogan is bad, bad bad, as you will find out in third part.

Critical error caused by fighting troll caster is fixed, hopefully.
Damage damage output of earthen spawns (first boss) increased by somewhere around 8%.

Yes i know all of those things you just said, and i fixed those. But still not uploading map, because i have made Leatherworking profession system, now i am thinking to remove alchemy and make those oils and stuff to be drop at some mobs. And add 2 tiers of mobs in some regions that will be placed, on example there will be no more old man who will teleport you to dungeon but there will be forest with treants that drop essence of nature, and there will be decent entrance to that tower in which you will fight fallen warchief and press purple switch.

This new system i have made had all of mats as icons and description under them, number of chages and name of material, next to that there are list of patterns you can make, at start 1 is some basic and 7 are undiscovered later you will find them, maybe :D
So and alchemy will be removed, those leather items will be automaticly placed to leatherworking board if Rogan picks them, if xaru does it, nothing happens...Untill rogan get those items. Backpack is still in game, you can find use for it, somehow..
Anyway dont worry about those trolls and stuff, everything is fixed, and new serious version is coming up soon.

Spirits of Nature doesn't work at rank 5, it costs no mana and doesn't target anything (it tells you to target a unit, but clicking on one does nothing).

Dying in the dungeon starts you back at the beginning, with no way to get back.

The game crashed when I tried to load just after the warchief in the dungeon's introduction.

Dying at the jail makes you go back to the point of origin and unable to get back into the jail in anyway.

Cool game! it has a lot of cool features
One thing I don't understand,I can't use the leather working feature in the new update.I clicked on everything but it doesn't work.
Could you please include some basic games in game?some commands would be cool too(camera zoom) and just some basic info about the characters,gameplay and setting could be cool too.

I must say when I play your map I really have a different feeling on it..... that I really like it to play again and again! Your game is good but where can I see healing spots or fountains? Well, Im in the start yet in the town but there's no healing spots just potions for healing. And when you reach level 2 and killing those wolves its too hard to gain level and you easily die because many wolf attacks you sometimes so maybe make the eleveling a BIT easier and the cinematic when you are talking with someone it takes too much time even the texts are only short make it a bit short ... But overall game looks perfect! The terrain is so cool that I like it to play.

Hold it, i am reworking mobs, increasing their powers actually, and that first boss you face earth elemental, has spawns and seems to be pretty nice, at test i killed him at first but i used 4 potions, maybe it could be done with 3 but make sure you have at least 4 when you enter his den.
About other mobs, trolls now can spawn totem which will drain your mana, has an aura. Murlocks, melee ones can cast curse which will do 7 dmg per sec. Something like that but stronger added to fallen cultists, mob health is increased overall... Thats for now but im still checking on mobs.

That will be text of next update xD
There are no fountains except mitula's fountain which i made only because i wrote quest that require fountain :D but you get 100% hp and mana every time you lvl up.

About cinematic, i cant please everyone, for someone its fast for someone is slow, but all in all most of those are needed, since they contain half of quest objectives and most of directions that is reason why i do not disable them or add such option, but i will shorten Agai's first quest cinematic, so you can start it over :)

Hey Strahinja,

Just played the new version. Lots of great changes!!

A few bugs:
-It summoned the troll boss twice, when I killed the large spirit callers on the left and right it summoned the boss each time and there are two of them now.
-when I was walking to the left of the troll fortress (between fortress and bandits all the way to the left...there are 2 or 3 tigers there)....it suddenly played a sound, green fog on the screen and said I entered the tower. I moved back and it canceled me out of the green mist again, but my camera stayed changed to the tower view.
-if you go into leather working while your camera is altered, the image is tilted and it is very hard to click on things. Perhaps hitting the ESC key when you are inside leatherworking should cancel it out, as well?

Balance:
-I feel like the amount of gold you get, the number of potion drops and the cost of potions are all working well right now
-You should disable the triggers you made to have Xaru auto cast her spells. She constantly autocasts her damage over time spell and then never has mana for healing (which is much better for the mana cost).
-the bandit dust is cool, but I think the cooldown on it is too low...when I fought the bandits, I was CONSTANTLY under bandit dust...it ended up being annoying instead of cool...since you just can't do anything while you're under the effect.

Cameras:
-In the Earth cave (first quest before your model changes), you might want to zoom in a little on the cinematic camera...I say this because you can't see the stone or the earth guardian thing very well
-I actually liked a lot of the cameras which you took out, but I guess there is no camera lock anymore, either. The map still looks beautiful

Didn't get past the troll area yet since it double summoned the boss. Maybe I'll play the next version and give more comments.

Trolls fixed now for sure, working on camera system.

After bandit quest arena quest starts, at dumba.
Make sure you complete tear of aragnia before you go south, if not you will lose your quest you will still be able to do arenas but no quest which grant 500g 500xp 5spell points and super ring.

Important to notice: Stack as many potions as you can before you enter arena.

To enter arena you have to pay 500 gold, but no worries if you win you will profit.
Rogan enters arena alone, there will be potions spawns and mobs are weak too..
But there will be more than just one fight so you could use some extra potions.

First round very weak mobs come but they do burst damage, i will increase their damage even more in next update :) this will be warm up. You can easily kill them with aoe.
Second round mini boss comes with mobs, boss has absorb shield. 500dmg but all of them are low on dmg.
Rest is up to you to check.

Please report if there are some bugs, i hope i didnt leave space for any. But since its my map, there is always big room for many kind of upredictable bugs. :)

yeah it's one of the icons on the left...although it should be changed so that hitting esc ALSO takes you out...or possible the icon could be changed to a cancel icon to make it more clear.

I liked everything except the corny animations when they speak uh huh i like orcs to but Undead for me is the BAWS +rep to you nice map with the spells

Okey, once voting ends ill count your vote as 3th option and see what will be done in 3th part. But anyway before i even start 3th part, i am doing something to increase length of gameplay at this part and after that fixing everything in first part.

i just started to play mitulas seal again but when i faced this earthgolem to open the runic gate the camera changed like in the last version. but when i left the area of the golem without killing him the camera didnt change again to the normal position. i opened the backpack so see if i can fix it this way but as i did, the game crashed =(

Ugh, i had no crashes at that point, i used all of camera abilities but no crashes... Dunno ill check it again, i was not expecting that to happen.

Btw this is how it is set, whenever camera changes in game distance and rotation will remain that way, while angle will be changed back. Now i made few parts where rotation goes back too, just to finish that place what i started, oracle that will open gate to aragnia's dungeon, dungeon where you find purple switch. It was just too easy to enter there :) Once i make it, i will check on camera to see why it could crash your game, i have not experience that but ill do my best to find what caused that.

you could add a chat command "camera" or something like that that resets to normal game view, just in case a camera doesn't reset correctly.

You could also store the current angle, distance, rotation, etc all that, in variables, and when you open the inventory, reset camera to normal, then when you leave the inventory, set it back to the variable values

I already made that and i tested, it was working, trough whole map, maybe something has happen in meanwhile, i have 90% completed oracle after that ill check those cameras again. I was pretty much sure, all specific camera rotations, distance from target and angle are in variables, but when you leave zone only angle resets, somewhere other attributes resets too but not so often. At inventory i saw no cam stucks after i made that camera thing. But ill check anyway, tomorrow im testing those things and uploading newer version. I said there will be no, but...That Aragnia's dungeon was so quick to get in and finish so i decided to make it hard to get in.

Updated again, i possible bugs at hungry seran, some gnoll you should trick, place food behind log and wait him to go for it then enter place and hit the switch and at elevators didnt have time to test, im constantly busy these days :(

Oracle is from Malaku, otherwise wouldnt increase size for just one not important npc. Her cinematic will be added eventually...

Nice map but there's a thing that prevent me to play, the craft screen (where you combine of course) wont close even if i click the every button on my board. (is there any specific button - just started playing Warcraft)

leatherworking icon should get you out of that screen
bottom left corner of the page

or its more to middle left

You should also make the ESC key exit crafting, like in your first RPG. You aren't using ESC for anything else, are you, so why not add that, too?

Ok i will add it, thats not hard. But cant upload map until finish some inventory system i started, equipment system actually, kind of spell book, it went messy because i started it over already made item structure and, it worked fine until xD it started not to turn back empty slots....im like blind now, cant see how to fix it :S

i didnt get control of the 2nd hero =(

Yes, she now becomes yellow, have not tested but i think that part cant be buggy. She should be following you, helping with dmg and casting heals. She can use potions, always last one in her inventory. To take items from her, on Inventory board click new icon (patrol). After you exit inventory she should come and give all items to rogan.

And yes, new Agai's model is not wow rip :) that is model which i made by merging geosets and animations from other models :) animations are kinda crap but still it doesnt look bad.

oh ok =) but she didnt follow me correctly i think. the first 2 min i waited for her very long, then i gave a fuck and went on on my own, dont knowing where she is =) and yey, its very nice =)

By the way, before i started 3th part i have made several systems as template.
Inventory, equipment, profession, damage system, food and elixir bonus systems, maybe something more, cant remember, did a lot.
I have saved that as special map, without quests and other stuff no terrain, if you like i can upload it, so you can start your rpgs xD if i recall well, once you said something how you would like to make one on your own.

Edit: Just remembered, custom status xD Critical strike, counter strike, spell power ratings and shield block preview.

I Recommend When Changing the model of the orc when he become a shaman is not to give him the same animations of blade master

Oh you think of voices?
Yea i had that on mind, but it will be hard to find some nasty voices which will fit him. How ever i will try. Maybe put some standard to first model, something like grunt? or hell if i know xD I will test voices and pick some set.

when I arrived at the temple of Mitula, the rpiestess tried to kill me, so I killed her first, what I don't get is why after I found the temple of mitula, the quest does not terminate or give new objectives, that's why I'm kind of stuck and it became really boring. also the blue runic switch: the one located near the mana spiritsage isn't working, when I step on it, it doesn't do anything. please help me, I've been dead stuck at the first part of the map for some time now.
